Timely Message from the Householder

gift box

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  – 2 Corinthians 4:6

Have you received that light?Look into the face of Christ Today!

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. – Psalms 34:5

The commemoration of the Birth of Christ is not a joke. It is not merely one of the holidays on the Calendar. It is the Season of Light – the celebration of the birth of the Saviour, Jesus Christ. But it sounds stupid to some people:

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. – 1Corinthians 1:18

If it sounds foolish to you, then you might be on a downward spiral to doom. Because no one gets this love package of God and remains the same. The gift box remains open:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16

So, I guess you need to make a Choice now:

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.  – Joshua 24:15

I have chosen the Living God. I have chosen Christ. The ball is in your court. No the switch in in your hand.

God strikes a good bargain with you:

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28

Accept his offer and call upon him:

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. – Romans 10:13

God bless you!
