Take time

Hello,

Six months gone just like that! It was just like yesterday when I had my new year retreat. A lot has happened since then – I have engaged in many activities of life and taken important decisions in the first half of 2015.

“Donut” project (and other life-calling efforts) is moving pari passu with my academics, personal development, business and relationships. I am not perfect at it yet, but I’m certain that I’m inching closer daily.

Looking back, thankfully, I have been able to achieve some of my laid down goals for the year, and also seen areas of improvement, sandwiched between the loopholes and that which still needs to be done.

Well… I say, bring it on; the next half of 2015 is going to be greater! Happy New month!

Many complain about insufficient time to achieve all they are supposed to. I do too. In fact, we have this subconscious idea that as we grow older, time picks up speed. It doesn’t crawl or walk anymore, it seems to fly.

I thinks it’s just that as we grow older, we seem to. Realize how important time Is and how much time had been improperly used in the past. That is why it’s important to “walk circumspectly…  redeem the time because the days are evil.” God says that’s wisdom! (Ephesians 5:15-17)

I don’t have so much to say than to share this I read from a book:

You have enough time to do everything God wants you to do. If you haven’t enough time, you are doing something God does not want you to do” – Rowland Croucher

God promises sufficient provision for every challenge that we face. This includes sufficient time to achieve all we are meant to in terms of God’s purpose for our lives. So, if you find yourself constantly complaining about insufficient time, maybe it’s time to look inward.

This new month, do not lament over your past impropriety in time management. Rather, seek God’s face and listen as you two evaluate your life for progress.

Here’s a poem i excerpted from a material I recently studied in my own personal time management research, titled “take time”

Take time to think
It is the source of power

Take time to play
It is the source of perpetual youth

Take time to pray
It is the greatest power on earth

Take time to love and be loved
It is a God-given privilege

Take time to be friendly
It is the road to happiness

Take time to laugh
It is the music of the soul

Take time to give
It is too short a day to be selfish

Take time to work
It is the price of success

Take time out today to evaluate and improve. God bless you!

Ciao!
