Blossom!

Blossom!

That was the word on my mind the morning I made the first sketch. This time, I didn’t let it slide, like the rest of the unfinished works that tugged at my sleeves at downtime.

Like plants that grow by taking in sunlight, water, and other minerals in the right proportion, I can only grow into the fullness of my life’s purpose by taking in daily victuals from Jesus, the vine.

The process of illustrating this work taught me that I can only live life one step at a time, in faith, trusting that my guide has my best interests at heart and will lead me to fruitfulness!

So, you can blossom! You are made to blossom.
Take in the right nutrients in the right proportion and grow!

You can blossom! Yes!

And here, I finished it!

“I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing.” John 15:5-6 (MSG)
